Print Versions

Hello FiveSters,

We are happy to announce a new chapter in our communication journey! Starting this month, our newsletter will be available in an offline, print version too. We have started with Udaipur location, and soon, all our locations will have their print versions too!

The main reason for introducing this is to make our newsletter more accessible as print versions can be read by anyone at any time, shared in meetings, and even be available for new joiners or visitors to read. This way, everyone can stay informed about our company’s latest updates and achievements.

Having a physical newsletter also adds a personal touch. It allows you to take a moment away from screens and enjoy reading at your convenience.

We look forward to rolling out the print version to all locations. Your feedback and contributions are always welcome to keep our newsletter fun and engaging.

Together, we’re making great stories, and the print versions will be an exciting step forward.

Happy Reading,
Naina Gallani

From The Chairman's Desk

Greetings Team,

Today I want to share the journey of FiveS Digital with all of you.

FiveS began in 2009 with only 12 people in a small home office. We started with back-office operations and it was only in 2012 that we got our first set of Cx programs from India and global digitalization programs from the US and the team size grew to 100+. By 2015, FiveS had expanded to 3 cities with a team size of 200+. And by 2018, FiveS was operating in 5 cities with over 1000 people. In 2018, FiveS also started working on RPA/IPA solutions.

This journey has had its fair share of ups and downs that have made us what we are today. While the good times have often been great, the bad times have been extremely testing. As a business, it is crucial that people stick around during difficult times. Over the years many thousands of people have joined and left FiveS and yet many continue to stay with us even now. Out of the 12 people who joined FiveS in the beginning, most are still with us.

My message for all of you today is that business and life, oftentimes involve a lot of struggles and to see it through one must be willing to work very hard with great dedication and resilience. The other thing that I want to convey is that FiveSters across locations should at least be familiar with everyone's names and faces, as you are a part of the same family that has taken us a lot of hard work to build.

Warm Regards,
Mr. S. N. Sharma
Chairman

'From Cricket Pitch to Corporate Desk'

Sandip Saha

Assistant Manager - Operations (Udaipur)

As I sit at my desk, typing away on my laptop, I can't help but think about the vastly different life I once led. Not too long ago, I was a professional cricketer, living and breathing the sport I loved. But life had other plans, and I found myself making the unexpected transition from cricket pitch to corporate office. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was one that taught me valuable lessons about adaptability, resilience, and the transferable skills that lie at the heart of both sports and business.

I played Under-19 state cricket from CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal), 1st Division and District cricket as well during my 13 years of cricket carrier.

The transferable skills that I learned as a cricketer, were that I developed strong teamwork and communication skills, which have proven invaluable in my corporate role. I also honed my ability to think strategically, make quick decisions under pressure, and learn from failure – all essential skills in the fast-paced world of business.

The challenges I faced were that I had to adapt to a new work culture, learn new software and technologies. But I approached each obstacle with the same determination and grit that had driven me on the cricket field.

Today, I'm proud to be a part of a dynamic team, working together to achieve common goals. I've discovered a new passion for problem-solving and innovation, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to apply my skills in a new and meaningful way.

My advice is if you're considering a career transition, I urge you to take the leap. Embrace the unknown, be open to learning, and trust that your skills are more transferable than you think. You never know where your next chapter will lead you.

Warm regards,
Sandip Saha
